Do you have supply chain planning experience and are you both analytical and commercial? The organization is a leading international supplier to large volume retail chains of high quality branded food related non-food products. We proudly develop and sell products for a variety of world-class brands.
Your challenge
Supply Chain is responsible for the product availability for our customers. As a coordinator you will be responsible for control of the cost of the ranges within the various formulas. Within this growing organisation you are an example for your colleagues in process improvements.
You are able to challenge and advise concerning optimum composition of the range and the supply chain. You have a structured way of working, are able to set priorities and able to work under pressure. In addition you are commercially driven and enthusiastic.
This role requires strong analytical skills, managing bottle-necks, the ability to find solutions and to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement. To do this, you will also have good written and oral communication skills, both in Dutch and in English.
What we’d like you to do
- Responsible for the stock and availability;
- Cooperation with Sales, Product Development and Logistics.
- Analysing product performance financially and stock performances.
- Proactively managing the order process and inventory levels;
- Translating the demand planning to a supply planning;
- Responsible for the planning parameters;
- System optimization and implementation;
- Participate in (company-wide) projects (e.g. Navision ERP implementation in Q4 2017).
There is a lot of space for personal initiative and a large part of your work will consist of various projects concerning process-and system optimizations and implementations. You will report to the head of supply chain.
What we ask of you
You have experience in coaching and motivating colleagues with the goal of taking the team to the next level. You have a rounded relevant college or university training and up to 4 years relevant experience within retail planning/financial analysis. In addition, you have preferably experience with Navision and knowledge of MS-Office and ERP systems.
