International Sales Director / Head of Sales Interior/Lifestyle - f/m

For a major Dutch interior brand with its own signature; original and exclusive. To expand the (wholesale) business further and join with an ambitious team. 

The job 

As International Sales Director / Head of Sales you are responsible for creating our commercial wholesale strategy for our national and international markets. You will direct key objectives to ensure our sales team delivers on its revenue goals.  You (in)directly create and maintain long-term relationships, maximize sales opportunities and generate new business. You will work from our office in Amsterdam and report into the General Manager as member of the management team. Travelling frequently to e.g. Germany is part of the job. 



  • Develop the commercial strategy in line with the growth plans for the company;
  • Manage the sales team to meet or exceed commercial goals;
  • Set up accurate reporting and pipeline management;
  • Oversee search of potential new customers to expand our footprint in our market;
  • Structure and develop Sales activities in our markets;
  • Monitor developments and customer needs , analyze market trends and adopt this into the value proposition;
  • Travel and visit key clients


What we are looking for 

  • Experience of at least 5-7 years in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of Germany or DACH area is an advantage;
  • You’re a local hero and you’re well connected;
  • Fluent communication in Dutch and English is required, German a big bonus;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude is a must.
