Reporting to the category director brands, you are the administrative rock that they will lean on. You will connect with our buying office in Shanghai for new product data and item validation. You will work closely with the category director, Global buying & sourcing team, compliance team and our warehouse in Europe to make sure all relevant product data is available at the time of launch.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all steps with the respective support areas to ensure a timely launch.
- Help with reviews for inline assortment when needed (organize and update documents, certificates, lifecycle, make analyses, marketing materials, etc).
- Answer product questions from Sales Teams.
- Plan and execute critical path processes for (retail) brand product launches, in alignment with the category management launch guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day brand activities (such as product questions, timely updates images, descriptions etc.) to ensure smooth execution and consistent brand presence
- Manage product lifecycle tasks in alignment with the Brand Director —from new (retail) brand product introductions to rationalization of underperforming items— ensuring seamless transitions across stages.
- Collaborate with the (retail) brand and Poland Operations to align on right customization methods of the (retail) brand products. •
- Collaborate with Marketing to align on availability of the right product imagery, making sure the correct Brand article numbers are linked to our collection.
- Assist in projects (f.e. sustainable data collection), analysing sales data, developing and executing brand strategies and business plans to drive sales, profitability, and alignment with broader (retail) brand goals.
This is your profile
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience in category management
- Good understanding of English in word and writing.
- You have a problem-solving mentality
- Proven capability to adapt to new systems and willingness to learn
- Customer supportive, stress resistance and a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders across different functions and levels of expertise
- Talent in organizing, with an eye for detail and priorities
- Entrepreneurial and able to work autonomously
- Resilient and able to respond under pressure
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Passion for new products and brands.
