Printing Market Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Printing Market Analyst to oversee all our printing activities and manage the entire process from operations to sales. This role is pivotal in simplifying and improving our printing methods, coordinating cross departmental efforts, and ensuring competitive pricing and a wide offering of print capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead process improvements from a high-level perspective.
You will be part of the Category Management team, where products are being created and decisions on printing techniques are being made. You are coordinating between Category Management and Operations to balance between our operations and product strategy: how to develop products for printing by understanding both our product as operations strategy to ensure the highest profitability for the company.
The reporting line is to VP Category Management.
What are you going to do?
1.. Database Management:
- Take overall responsibility for the printing database.
- Ensure the database is clean, well-maintained, and up-to-date.
- Gather data requirements related to print methods and pricing structures from all involved departments (operations, finance, pricing, category management, CYO, ecommerce).
- Align and plan tasks across departments to ensure timely execution.
2. Process Improvement:
- Simplify and enhance the process of setting up new printing methods.
- Review and improve the existing documentation on printing methods.
- Propose and implement process improvements from a strategic Identify and flag challenges between product and printing processes.
3. Commercial role:
- Benchmark industry standards (locations, sizes, different techniques and pricing).
- Manage competitive benchmarking.
- Liaise between operations strategy and product strategy to ensure optimal print capabilities.
- Provide input to operations on topics such as default settings, digital transitions, naming conventions, and database cleanliness.
- Work closely with operations and category management to introduce new printing methods.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in market analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-departmental projects.
- Familiarity with printing methods and industry standards is a plus.
- You will travel occasionally, approximately four times per year to Poland and one to two times per year to the UK.
